Information is a primary organisational asset that is needed now and into the future. Good recordkeeping underpins the provision of good business information.

Any record keeping system should be accurate, reliable, easy to follow, consistent as to the basis used and be very simple. Good record keeping is vital to not only meeting the financial commitments of the business but also providing information on which decisions for the future of the business can be based.

In this skills programme we will look at the systems and processes used to create, use and maintain or manage administration records in the future world of work.

  • Controlling and evaluating ordering and distribution of office stationery
  • Implementing control measures with individuals.

1: CONTROL AND DEAL WITH CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS

1.1 Organisational systems & System concepts

1.3 The system and procedures used for dealing with confidential information

1.4 Secure documents

1.5 Utmost care is taken to avoid compromising stakeholders

 

2: CONTROL AND EVALUATE ORDERING AND DISTRIBUTION OF OFFICE STATIONERY     

2.1 Effectively control office stationery policies, procedures and strategies

2.2 Plans to monitor, maintain and improve stock levels

2.3 Effective shrinkage controls

2.4 Accurate reports reflecting stationery movements for a given period

2.5 The control of the administration system and procedures

2.6 Documentation used for the control of stationery

2.7 Maintaining Office Supplies Processes and Procedures

 

3: IMPLEMENT CONTROL MEASURES WITH INDIVIDUALS            

3.1 Implement contracted control measures and identify non-conformances

3.2 Record and handle non-conformances and negotiate corrective actions
